Introduction
Slotify is a delivery-date and fulfillment-planning app for Shopify, developed and operated by 9x9 Digital (The Desi Co Group Ltd), 124 City Road, London, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Slotify lets your customers choose a delivery date in the cart, shows your team a shipping calendar of orders by ship and delivery date, and runs preorder offers with scheduled ship dates. This policy explains what data Slotify collects from your Shopify store and from shoppers on your storefront, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What data we collect
Store information. Your Shopify store domain, store ID, locations, currency, timezone, and basic configuration details.
App configuration. The settings you create in Slotify: allowed delivery days, daily order cutoff, lead times, minimum and maximum booking windows, holiday dates, weekend surcharge settings, the labels, fonts and colours used by the cart widget, your preorder offers, theme element selectors, and the order attribute names Slotify reads. This is store configuration, not personal data.
Order data (used for the shipping calendar). To place orders on the calendar and show fulfillment progress, Slotify reads a limited set of fields from your orders: order number, creation date, item count with product and variant references, order total and currency, fulfillment status, the shipping method name (for example "DPD Next Day Tracked"), and the ship and delivery date attributes recorded on the order. We deliberately do not request Shopify’s protected customer fields. Slotify does not collect or store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or shipping and billing addresses. The order records we hold reference products, dates, and statuses, not people.
Delivery postcode entered at the cart. When the cart widget is enabled, a shopper enters a postcode so Slotify can confirm you deliver to their area and show the correct delivery dates and rates. The postcode is handled in the shopper’s browser for that lookup, and where the "Remember guest postcode" setting is on it is stored in that browser so the shopper does not have to retype it. If your theme records the postcode on the order, it appears there as an order attribute under your control. A postcode on its own does not identify an individual, and Slotify does not combine it with any other customer detail.
Preorder data. The offers you configure, the product variants linked to them, their scheduled ship dates, and aggregate preorder performance figures such as revenue, units sold, and number of preorder orders, calculated from your order data.
Usage and support data. Short-lived technical logs, including Shopify webhook payloads, kept briefly for reliability and debugging, and any support conversation if you contact us by email.
How we use your data
Purpose limitation. Order data is used solely for the fulfillment planning and preorder features described above. We never sell your data, never use it for advertising, and never use it to identify, track, or profile your customers.
Our role
For your store’s data, including order data, you are the data controller and Slotify is a data processor acting on your instructions through the app. Slotify does not create separate user accounts: your team signs in with their existing Shopify admin session, and we do not hold separate Slotify passwords or credentials.
Service providers we rely on
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
| Cloudflare | Security, DNS, and content delivery | Global network |
| Shopify | Platform integration (APIs, webhooks, admin embedding) | Per Shopify’s terms |
Where a provider processes data outside the UK, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK Addendum to Standard Contractual Clauses.
Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Shopify access tokens are additionally encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.
Data retention and deletion
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, object to the processing of, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes are highlighted in the app or by email where appropriate.
